Won’t it just wear you out, make you feel more tired, increase your tension?

Well, of course not. Probably so many folks wouldn’t promote it so enthusiastically if that was the case. Knowing you should exercise, however, does not let you know why you should exercise, why it helps you so much.

For one thing, some exertion really can get rid of all that tension you are harboring. You can even get rid of any emotional tension too. Plus, the act of exercising causes your body to release endorphins, which basically make you feel happy and give you a strong sense of well being.

Naturally, exercising will also improve your physical health. In many ways, just that fact alone can help you get rid of stress and tension.
