<p>You would be surprised how many people do not know anything about Pranayam – what Pranayam actually is, is breathing exercises that have become widely popular in recent times however they have been around forever.  The Indians have been using Pranayam in order to maintain and keep a healthy body and lifestyle.</p>
<p>One of the biggest benefits of Pranayam is that is can actually increase mental conviction; therefore you should be able to have a very strong mind and body and will not become sick all that often.  The belief behind Pranayam is actually that your mind controls everything and that you will not get sick because of your strong mind.</p>
<p>While that might seem like an incredible belief – it is your own opinion that matters.  What you need to do is sit in an erect lotus position and close your eyes.  Concentrate on your breathing and breath very, very deep.</p>
