Sage has been used for years as an antiseptic, antioxidant and even as an anti-inflammatory. Sage can actually help compress bruises, wounds and cuts and it can even be applied right onto clean sores and ulcers to help them.

The antiseptic properties that are found in sage can really help speed up your healing process and stop any bleeding that might be happening.
